Husqvarna Sewing Machines - From The Master Designer

Husqvarna sewing machines is a Swedish company that in 1872 went from making weapons to making sewing machines. Quite a 360 degree turnaround!

This is a company whose emphasis is on designing sewing machines that are easy to use and fun.

All of the companies, Husqvarna sewing machines included have the basic sewing machines, embroidery machines, quilting machines, and sergers to offer. However, it is the extra innovations that distinguish one company’s product from another company’s product.

This is a company that does things big! Known for their mega embroidery hoops. The latest innovation in embroidery machine attachments is what they call the Majestic Hoop, measuring 14 ½ x 13 ¾ inches. One can actually embroider a tablecloth using this hoop!

They are also known for speed. For anyone who loves quilting (and I’m one of those people), a quilting machine like their Mega Quilter that sews 1600 stitches per minute, faster than a regular sewing machine and with a work area that is extra large, 9 x 6 inches, is a quilter’s dream! Having a quilting machine that can accommodate a full size bed quilt and that can stitch that quilt faster than a conventional sewing machine certainly can make quilting even more fun. That is one machine that even I have to investigate! Especially since I love to make large full size bed quilts.

If you have ever watched their spokeswoman Sue Hausmann on her sewing and quilting programs on PBS this is the brand of machine she uses, no wonder she is always so enthusiastic about her sewing and quilting.

Another innovative product of this company is their embellishing machine, with its five needles that allows you to embellish just about any project. If one wants a machine that is not really a sewing machine, not an embroidery machine, but a machine that simply puts designs on your project then this is the machine for you.

They have even partnered with Horn of America that presents Regal Cabinets designed to fit Husqvarna sewing machines. There is even a brochure on their site that presents some stunning cabinets to house your machine.

These innovative Husqvarna sewing machines products can be found at husqvarnaviking.com/us Their sewing products are well entrenched in the American market and can even be found at Joann Fabrics super stores. In addition, a number of their models can be found at AllBrands.com

There are quite a few dealers that carry this brand, so it is relatively easy to see their products up close and personal and customize one’s own fun sewing experience.
